Viscous and Shear-Sensitive Liquids: Screw Pumps

Heavy fuel oil, bitumen, resins, sludge and food pastes defeat centrifugal machines, which is where positive displacement screw pumps enter the range. The G-type single-screw pump moves high-viscosity, abrasive and shear-sensitive media at 0.1–150 m³/h with pressures of 0.6–2.4 MPa and must never run dry. The 3GB triple-screw series suits low-viscosity oil at high temperature, delivering 2.4–241.7 m³/h at up to 350 °C. Heat Transfer, Boosting, Submerged and Vacuum Service
