ISG vertical inline pipeline pumps install directly in the pipeline — suction and discharge flanges on the same axis. This eliminates the need for a pump base and reduces installation footprint. Flow: 1.6–1200 m³/h, head: 5–150 m, power: 0.18–132 kW, temperature: -20°C to 120°C. The GDL multistage variant achieves higher head (up to 150 m) for boiler feed or high-rise pressure boosting. Compare to IS end-suction: ISG is more space-efficient; IS has lower NPSHr for suction-challenged installations.

What is the difference between ISG and IS centrifugal pumps?

ISG is a vertical inline pump — both suction and discharge flanges are in line, so it installs directly in the pipeline with no need for a pump base or elbow fittings. IS is a horizontal end-suction pump requiring a base plate and separate inlet piping. ISG saves floor space and is preferred for HVAC and building services. IS is preferred where low NPSHa (suction-challenged) conditions require a lower NPSHr pump.

Product Details

ISG centrifugal pump is an energy-saving product with smooth operation, low noise and high concentricity of components. The series motor adopts low-noise bearings, and the impeller adopts the best static and dynamic balance design, thus ensuring that the pump is characterized by low noise and no vibration during operation. At the same time, the shaft adopts hard alloy wear-resistant mechanical seal, which solves the problem of serious leakage of packing seal of centrifugal pumps, and also prolongs the service life and ensures the tidiness of the operation place.

Applications

ISG series vertical centrifugal pump is often adopted to convey clear water and other liquids whose physical and chemical properties are similar to those of clear water. It is applicable for garden irrigation, refrigeration cycle, industrial and urban water supply and drainage, fire-fighting pressure,  pressurized water supply for high-rise buildings,  long-distance transmission and other fields.

Features
  1. The impeller is mounted directly onto the extended motor shaft; the pump and motor bearing arrangement is optimized to effectively balance radial and axial loads during operation, ensuring smooth performance with minimal vibration and noise.
  2. The inlet and outlet are aligned on the same centerline, allowing the pump to be installed directly into the pipeline at any position—much like a valve—and enabling outdoor operation when equipped with a rain cover.
  3. Installation and maintenance are simple: the rotor assembly can be removed by simply unbolting the pump casing, without the need to dismantle the piping system. 4 The pumps can be operated in series or parallel configurations to meet specific flow rate and head requirements.
