When should I choose IHF (fluoroplastic-lined) over IH (stainless)?

Choose IHF when the liquid is a strong mineral acid (H₂SO₄, HCl, HF, HNO₃), a strong alkali, an oxidising agent, or any medium that attacks SS316L. IH stainless is sufficient for dilute acids, weak alkalis, salt solutions and mild chemicals. Always verify concentration and temperature against the fluoroplastic compatibility chart.

Product Details

IHF flurorplastic centrifugal pump is manufactured based on international standards and combined with non-metallic pump technology. Its pump body is made of metal casing lined with PTFE propylene, while the pump cover, impeller and liner plate are made of metal inserts and sintered and pressed fluoroplastics. Meanwhile, the shaft seal adopts external advanced bellows mechanical seal, the static ring adopts 99.9% alumina ceramics (or silicon nitride), and the dynamic ring adopts PTFE filling material, which has excellent corrosion and wear resistance.

Applications

IHF fluoine plastic centrifugal pumps finds application in the transfer of chemically corrosive media and electrolytes used in non-ferrous metal smelting, while also serving in automotive manufacturing processes such as acid baths. As such, they are the ideal choice for handling corrosive media such as strong alkalis, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, nitric acid, and strong oxidizing agents.
