The FB and AFB series are single-stage, single-suction corrosion-resistant centrifugal pumps for media that contain no solid particles, published for liquid temperatures from 0 °C to 120 °C. The published performance envelope is 2–191 m³/h of flow with heads from 5.2 to 70 m, delivered by 2900 r/min close-coupled units.
All parts in contact with the pumped medium are manufactured from 304 stainless steel, so the pump protects the quality and stability of the medium as well as resisting corrosion. Shaft sealing uses an impeller-driven seal arrangement published for this series, which keeps the seal area simple and reduces the number of wearing parts.
The range is built around a family of nominal diameters from 25 mm to 150 mm. For each casing size the FB model is the full-diameter impeller and the AFB model is the trimmed version with lower flow and head, so a single casing can cover several duty points. Efficiency and NPSH are published for every model, which makes the series straightforward to match to an existing pipe system.
