ZJL / LZ submerged vertical centrifugal pumps install directly in tanks or pits with the pump impeller submerged in the liquid. The motor sits above the liquid surface, connected by a long shaft. No external mechanical seal in the liquid — the shaft passes through a bearing column. Flow: 2–600 m³/h, head: 8–100 m, immersion depth: 0.5–3 m (customizable). Standard temperature ≤100°C; high-temperature version to 300°C. Ideal for acid tanks, chemical storage, hot water pits and underground sumps.

When should I use a submerged pump instead of a centrifugal pump?
Use a submerged pump when: the liquid is in a tank or pit below ground level (poor suction conditions for surface pumps); the liquid is corrosive and eliminating shaft seals in the liquid reduces maintenance; available installation height above the tank is limited; or the liquid is at high temperature and submerged bearing cooling is preferred. Not suitable for abrasive slurries above ~5% solids.
What is a submerged pump?
