IHF Series PTFE-Lined Chemical Pump
A single-stage fluoroplastic-lined centrifugal pump for strong acids, alkalis and oxidising media, covering 3.5–300 m³/h and heads of 4.5–87 m at −20 °C to 100 °C.





The IHF series is a single-stage, single-suction centrifugal pump whose wetted surfaces are lined with fluoroplastic so that aggressive media only contact plastic rather than bare metal. The published working envelope is 3.5–300 m³/h of flow, 4.5–87 m of head and a medium temperature of −20 °C to 100 °C.
The pump body is a metal casing lined with PTFE, while the pump cover, impeller and liner plate are made by sintering and pressing fluoroplastic onto metal inserts. The shaft seal is an externally mounted bellows mechanical seal: the stationary ring is 99.9 % alumina ceramic or silicon nitride and the rotating ring uses a PTFE filling material, with SSIC industrial ceramics also published for the seal faces.
Because the wetted path is a plastic lining rather than a solid plastic moulding, the pump keeps metal-casing strength while handling any concentration of sulphuric, nitric, hydrochloric, hydrofluoric and acetic acid, strong alkalis, strong oxidising agents and organic solvents. It is applied in chemical, metallurgical, pesticide, pharmaceutical, printing-and-dyeing and paper-making plants, in non-ferrous metal smelting, in acid baths in automotive manufacturing and in waste-water treatment.
