SFBX Self-Priming Pump Overview

The SFBX series is a corrosion-resistant self-priming centrifugal pump that combines an advanced cantilever structure with mechanical shaft sealing. The published duty envelope is 0.8–23.8 m³/h of flow with heads from 3 to 28 m, driven by motors from 0.25 kW to 3 kW.

Parts in contact with the medium and the connecting frame are made from high-quality stainless steel, and the series is published for liquids that may contain fine, soft particles or fibres, whether the duty is corrosive or subject to hygiene requirements. Semi-open or closed impellers are used depending on the medium.

Because it primes itself, the pump can lift liquid into the casing without a foot valve on many duties, which simplifies tank emptying, sump transfer and batch dosing. The manufacturer publishes two temperature limits depending on how the pump is coupled: up to 90 °C for the direct-coupled type and up to 105 °C for the bearing-bracket type.
