Overview

The RY series is a horizontal single-stage centrifugal pump built to circulate heat transfer oil through closed heating loops at -20°C to 350°C.

It covers 1–500 m³/h at a working pressure of 1–12.5 bar, and its natural air-cooling fin structure removes the need for an external cooling-water system.

The seal housing combines a packing seal with a heat-resistant auxiliary seal, and an oil guide tube allows the seal condition and recovered heat transfer oil to be observed in service.

The pump is used wherever a liquid-phase thermal oil system must keep heat moving — reactors, presses, dryers, calenders and storage tanks — without the capital and safety cost of high-pressure steam.

Materials, Seals & Options
  • Sealing: a combination of packing seal and mechanical seal with a heat-resistant auxiliary seal gives low-leakage operation at high temperature.
