SK Vacuum Pump Overview

The SK series is a liquid ring pump that can be operated either as a vacuum pump or as a compressor, so one machine covers both duties in a plant. The published vacuum range runs from 1.5 to 120 m³/min with an ultimate vacuum of −0.093 MPa, and the same pump is published to deliver compressed gas at pressures from 0 to 1 MPa.

Water forms the ring that seals and compresses the gas, which keeps the process nearly isothermal.
