The 2SK series is a two-stage water ring vacuum pump published for high stability, high reliability, long-term continuous operation and easy maintenance. It is designed to extract air and other gases that contain no solid particles, are non-corrosive and are insoluble in water.
Because two stages are used in series, the pump reaches a higher vacuum and a larger pumping rate in the high-vacuum region than a single-stage water ring pump. The published ultimate vacuum is −0.098 MPa, equivalent to 735 mmHg, with maximum capacities from 1.5 to 30 m³/min and motors from 4 to 55 kW.
The published working vacuum range is −0.03 to −0.08 MPa, and the series is recommended for working conditions where the suction pressure is lower than −0.08 MPa.
