Overview

The WFB series is a vertical self-priming centrifugal pump used in printing and dyeing, power, chemical, metallurgy, medicine, electroplating, environmental, municipal, mining and construction duty. Published coverage is 0.75-6850 m³/h at heads of 4-130 m with motor power from 0.75 kW to 250 kW, and the pump can be built in cast steel or stainless steel according to the medium. Instead of conventional packing or a mechanical seal, the pump uses a special leak-free sealing device, which removes the running, bubbling, dripping and leakage associated with traditional seals. That sealing device does not rub or wear during operation, and the supplier states its service life is more than ten times that of comparable products. Self-priming works through a gas-liquid separation chamber: liquid mixed with air is thrown into the chamber, the lighter gas leaves the mixture, and a vacuum forms at the pump inlet to complete priming.
