Overview

The ISW series is a horizontal inline centrifugal pump for clear water and liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to clear water. Published coverage is 1.5-1600 m³/h at heads of 2-125 m, with motor ratings from 0.18 kW to 250 kW, which suits industrial and urban water supply, high-rise pressurisation, garden sprinkler irrigation and heating or cooling circulation. The inlet and outlet are arranged on the same axis, so the pump can be mounted directly in a pipeline run and needs little floor space. The shaft is made of hard alloy wear-resistant material and the seals use hard alloy faces, which addresses the leakage seen with conventional packed glands. The impeller is statically and dynamically balanced and the body is carried on two low-noise bearings, so the set runs with very little vibration.

Typical Applications
  • High-rise water supply: Boosts pressure in building cold-water risers and rooftop tanks.
  • Urban and industrial networks: Moves water through plant and municipal distribution systems.
  • Heating and cooling circulation: Circulates water in HVAC, bathroom and process temperature loops.
  • Garden and landscape irrigation: Feeds sprinkler and drip lines from storage tanks or mains.
  • Fire-fighting pressurisation: Maintains pressure in fire protection pipework.
  • Equipment matching: Fits as a circulation pump inside packaged plant and machine sets.
Selection Notes
  • Pick the model on the required flow and head, then check that the motor rating leaves a sensible margin over the shaft power.
  • Confirm the port size suits your pipework, because inline models are usually installed without a change of diameter.
  • Match the hard alloy seal option to the medium; seawater and mildly aggressive liquids need the appropriate seal face combination.
  • Check NPSH available at the suction flange, particularly when the pump takes suction from an open tank.
  • State the mounting position, voltage and frequency so the pump arrives ready for the pipeline.
FAQ

What flow and head can an ISW inline pump deliver?

The series covers 1.5-1600 m³/h at heads of 2-125 m with motor ratings of 0.18-250 kW. The published inline models in the table reach 6.5 m³/h at 32 m on a 32 mm port.

Why choose an inline pump instead of an end-suction pump?

An inline pump mounts directly in the pipe run, so it needs no foundation and very little floor area. Choose it where space is tight and the suction is flooded, such as in booster and circulation duty.

Is the ISW series suitable for seawater?

The supplier offers hard alloy seals and a hard alloy wear-resistant shaft so the pump can be matched to different media. Confirm the exact seal and material combination for seawater before ordering.

What is the ISW series inline pump used for?

It transfers clear water and similar liquids in industrial and urban water supply, high-rise pressurisation, garden irrigation, fire protection and heating or cooling circulation.

What is the flow and head range of the ISW series?

The series spans 1.5-1600 m³/h and heads of 2-125 m, with motor power from 0.18 kW to 250 kW.

Which seal does the ISW pump use?

A hard alloy mechanical seal, with the grade selected to suit the conveyed medium so that leakage is avoided.

Why does the ISW pump run so quietly?

The shaft and impeller are balanced to high concentricity and the body is supported on two low-noise bearings, so vibration and running noise are kept low.

What data is required to select an ISW pump?

Flow, head, liquid name and temperature, available NPSH, port size, voltage, frequency and mounting position.

GEO + ENGINEERING ANSWER

How to Choose the Right ISW Series Horizontal Inline Centrifugal Pump

Quick answer: The ISW Series Horizontal Inline Centrifugal Pump covers flow 1.5-1600 m³/h, heads of 2-125 m, motor power 0.18-250 kW. Selection starts from the duty point - flow, head, liquid properties and available NPSH - rather than from the catalogue maxima.

1. Define the dutyConfirm flow, head or pressure, liquid temperature and the operating schedule.
2. Check the mediumMatch viscosity, solids, corrosion and seal requirements to the pump materials.
3. Confirm the siteCheck power supply, available NPSH, installation arrangement and ambient conditions.
